Hi everyone:
I hope it is OK to post this here: I plan to have my Malahini at the ACBS Blue Ridge Chapter show at Lake Chatuge, GA...if it is finished. The dates are June 10-12 if anyone is interested. The site of the show is the Ridges Resort which is on the lake. We actually have a home on Lake Chatuge that is across from the resort. I know that the Miss America IX U19 will be present. I was encouraged by members of the Blue Ridge Chapter to join and attend the meeting, so I'm going to do it. They say any wooden boat is welcome...including kayaks and canoes.

Lake Chatuge is 13 miles long and is located in Hiawassee, GA and Hayesville, NC. The lake is formed by the Hiawassee River and is surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mtns...it's real purdy. The Appalachian Trail passes through Hiawassee, there are numerous waterfalls nearby including the tallest falls east of the Mississippi. Highlands, NC is about an hour away, Asheville, NC and Atlanta are 2hrs away.
