I talked with Barry, yesterday. He said he wants to set up some place on this site to list the people who are committing to come. 8)

Great Idea :!:

Hnmmm, you got me. I think I read that wrong, or wrote it wrong or something...I knew what I meant though. I am not a brain scientist when it comes to phraseology.

What I actually MEANT was...i think No1 son is thinking August or Thanksgiving for dates..which means I might be able to commit to a date in October !!!

Steve

PS...WHich I AM SURE you are all freaking THRILLEd about !!! (Not the actually gathering..just that I might be there !!!) :o

Okay Dave you are not taking the HINT !!

Open up a thread where only "The Committed" can go to discuss the gathering. That is: People with reservations, so we can find out how serious this actually is !!

Steve

Reminds of this time I spent a night in a rubber room with padded wa...wait I digress...

I still dont understand why they wouldnt let me keep that white doctors jacket with the wicked long sleeves...

Most people would say that anyone building a boat should be committed.
WHAT ? 'you can buy a boat ' Why would you try to build your own ?
I imagine you have heard all the comments
'is that a boat?
Does it go on the water ?
I never knew anyone who built a boat before
The best though
after looking at my cracker for about 5 minutes, a neighbor walking by said
' Oh you mean that is the front ?
I said yea , the pointed end !
go figure
I just don't understand, I cut that plank twice and its still too short

I mentioned this in an earlier thread a year or so back but it bears saying again. One of my so called friends suggested that I tie a long rope with a buoy on boat so we could find it after it sank.

I spent a half an hour trying to figure out how to make that thread a sticky and I had to go to work. But now that I'm home, I'm gonna work on it again.
