I just saw a reference to this poll in the Newsletter. For me Guntersvile State Park is just a 2 hour drive and then 340 river miles away - piece of cake! Count me in. I pass by the park at least once a year in my Cabin Skiff when making a run to Chattanooga. Yes, Lake Gunthersville is on the Tennessee River which is my all time favorite river. Sounds like a fun get together!

I been thinking for some time, hoping you could make it, by coming up the river. Glad to hear you can be there.

Ray, we really won't mind if you "cheat" a little bit more on some pavement so you can get a little closer before you put in !

Just curious.. in the webletter, the notice was talking about June 2007 and we've been talking more about mid-late Oct 2007.

or am I simply out to lunch up here? ;)

Yes, those webletter people are just SO SO SO SO behind the times. JEEZE!

(just kidding Gayle, Barry)

Obviously, with the majority of votes going for the fall color change, the peak would be the last weekend of October. That would make it Oct, 27 & 28, 2007. Everyone OK with that?

Hey Steve, I've skiied many times with a wet suit and booties. It's actually a lot of fun and sure does extend the season. And btw, I've got an old wetsuit that I'm just too fat for. (Ok, shut up everybody!) Anyone that's around 6ft tall and 190-215lbs and can give it a good home is welcome to it.

Works for me too. It'll give enofe time to maybe actually build something.

Besides, it'll be a good way to celebrate my birthdate, as is today. Got's a few things to-do and then it's off to find that beer and cooler
Actually, it's just around the corner, no plans but to shoot some pool and a few beers with a few friends.
One day.
