The boss and I will be there Friday night. Actually, I will be there around noon Friday to make the first haul. I probably will bring 2 boats. The cracker wont be done so I will bring another to ride in. Cant stand sitting on the bank watching everyone else have fun.

I plan on being there Friday evening and will come back Saturday (if I can move my flight out to late Saturday night). Not sure what time yet...but I will be there.

We will be arriving in Huntsville at 6:50 and should be in Guntersville around 9:30 or 10:00. So, we won't make the boil, but if you guys are still up and partying, at least I'll be there! Can't speak for all the "old folks" travelling with me ... ;0 Sure looking forward to it!

And if the "old folks" are sleeping before you stop partying, you might not want to wake them up by opening the cabin door...I will probably still be awake so....

The only way some of you old right coast or CST zone goats can hang with Gayle even with drinking ice water and telling fairytales is to prepare yourself early on with sleeping late in the morning the week before as she is way behind you from her time zone and will surely find you guys sawing logs by the time she gets in and still on left coast time.

I don't think I ever chimed in on this...

My intention is to be there Friday night... We're planning to leave the "frozen north" some time on Thursday...

(For those of us from the "High Country", what the heck is a "Low Country Boil" anyways?... beyond the Molson, is there anything I should bring?... or should I just surprise you)

Bruce,

A Low Country Boil is often called a Steamer elsewhere. The Carolina version usually was Shrimp, Corn, Potatoes, Sausage and maybe some other seafood.
