Are there enough people this side of the pond to have a euro gathering ?

Add your name and country below.

Well, there's Hakanzorlu (sp?) with his Squirt, and whoever bought Graham's Squirt, to name a couple....

I'd be up for this too. I live near Carrickmacross, Co, Monaghan. (Ireland)

There was someone up in Northern Ireland building a squirt a couple of years ago...can't remember their user name...

I've gotten at least one PM about starting a forum just for those interested in a gathering somewhere on your side of the pond. Usually, when I get these, I hold off just a little bit to see if the interest is real or just passing. But if you want, and there is anyone that wants to push it through, I'll be more than happy to set you up your own board just to see what kind of real interest can be generated.

This is the way our Gathering took off. At first, we were just kicking around the idea and looking for places that MIGHT be good. Later it totally took on a life of its own and WOW.
Isn't it amazing!! The person that never has the fortitude to pursue his own dreams, will be the first to try and discourage you from pursuing yours.

Dave - did you get any other interest in an EU Gathering? I need at least another year to finish my boat (maybe more) at this rate, but could be interested in an EU Gathering in the future.
What's the rush? Getting it finished?!

Beale Park boat show in the UK, on the thames near Reading... It would be a great place to just meet up.

If we wanted to bring boats along, then we would have to contact the organisers, but if since there's a "small boat" show going on there anyway, then meeting up only needs 2 people.

Sorry this was late for this year.

2009 - Glen-l builders in Europe Flock to Beale Park in June ?

Who's in ?

Count me (and the family) in. Beale Park is just a 30 minute drive for me so was planning to go next year anyway.

Now I have a mission - get the Zip at least on a trailer by then.

Anyone else?

We have a lot of clients in the UK, so we'd be happy to include a blurb in our WebLetter as it gets closer. And, we can add it to the Gathering page on our site as well. PM me if it looks like this is a firm commitment, okay? What a great idea, btw!

Hey Gayle it looks like you might just have to take a trip to the UK soon. What a shame, maybe you can swing by Atlanta and pick up leackcheck and me to keep you company

If Glen could draw up a plywood viking-ship, we norwegians would be more than happy to visit Ireland/UK once more... 8)
