I just PM'd Bill with a couple of additions to the list of attendees, but it looks like maybe Bruce is the "keeper of the list". We are sending out invitations to our clients in the local area, so here are a couple more to add:

Phillip Doiron, Weaver, AL
Randy Griffin, Huntsville, AL--bringing his Sea Kayak which he will be racing in the 2008 Phatwater Kayak race on the Mississippi.

By the way, here is the link to my invitation page if anyone wants to forward it to local friends as an "official" invite:

My son and I plan on driving down from Nashville for the day on Saturday. Anything I need to bring besides my nearly completed Glen-L 14?

Kenny,

Welcome! If you get down fairly early come by the Lake Side Cabins. It's kind of HQ. It is on the way to the main camp ground beach area that we'll have the boats at during the day Saturday.

Bruce Dow will probably be contacting you to get registration info. (No Charge)

As things firm up we'll post it here.

You can put my wife and I down for coming. Fabricflyer (Sherry & Allen)
Want to bring my Squirt. Would someone be willing to back my boat in the water? Wanted to come in moterhome, and can't bring tow car and boat together. Also, how far is the moterhome campground from where the festivities are taking place? I can bring bikes to travel distance if it's not too far.

Flyer,

We'll get you in the water. The campground is less than a mile from the lake cabins.

Welcome!

One of us will help you launch.
If I remember right, the campground is between the cabins and the boat ramp. Seems close together.

I been trying to keep in mind 3 projects from last year; Bruce Dow, Bill Edmunson, and Paul (Mr. Hot Rod.)
Bill and Bruce already splashed. What about Paul?
Is Mr. Hot Rod gonna bring his 'Hot Rod' to the Gathering?

I'm not going to be the Poster Boy this year :!:

We've been working overtime getting her ready. We'll be adding a third shift soon. :!:
I've picked up a 3/4 ton truck to pull it in style ... We're finishing up the plumbing and electrical ... Seats
are going to be sent out for webbing next week ... Trailer wiring is almost complete.

It's going to have a rough dash and primered deck. My thinking on this is that it's not a Hot Rod
if it doesn't have some primer on it. I had my heart set on capturing the Best Deck Award
but reality got in the way. I'll concede it to Bruce this year :P

It really doesn't matter what Hot Rod's deck or dash looks like. Because all we'll be seeing is his transom.

And I'll see all you guys transoms, since mine is only 'Half Fast'. And you guys are getting good time on project, while I been outta town, my boat still looks as it did.
