Well... Mr Hot Rod left Quebec today and dragged his topless boat through sleet and snow to complete the first leg of his journey.

He reports that the Glen-L 2100 trailer that he built handled well through the blizzard, and that the Hot Rod earned lots of stares along the way.

The Hot Rod arrived full of snow... which we hope will be melted by the time we reach Alabama.

We are shipping out from Toronto at first-light tomorrow (Wed.) morning.

If I can paraphrase the immortal words of the Blues Brothers.

Elwood: It's 1006 miles to Guntersville, we got a full tank of gas, and half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.

Jake: Hit it!

C U in a few days, eh?

Hope you have a good trip.

Good idea...

Hot Rod agrees that all his boat will be good for this week is to use it as a cooler.

(We're stopped for the night in Cincinnati... all is well)

I'm loading up now! I'll leave B'ham 8:30 or 9:00 in the morning about 2 1/2 hours.

It'll be a fun drive in the rain. But, not a chance I won't be there!

Bill
