Ken

All RESPECT to your boat! I'd go offshore with you without concern! Not in my boat!

Different purposes for sure!

Bill

Truer words have never been spoken. I had a total BLAST!

And Dwayne's boat accelerates SO HARD!! Man! We'd make a pass at the camera boat and then WAM and he'd punch it for another go around. I kept getting my internal organs mashed into the back of my rib cage. That boat was a total HOOOOOT! I will never forget this weekend.

Dave - the video kinda shows Dwayne was trying to get the videographer wet. Did he?

Man o' man was that video cool. Definitely gets me amped up to get mine in the water. One thing for sure, if I do make it to a 'Gathering', I will definitely not be in the videographers boat. Seems everyone was aiming at him, kind of like the guy riding in the ball picker-uper at the driving range......... LOL.

Looks like great fun though.

Thanks for posting that Chris! I tried to load it last week from the file that Chris the videographer emailed me, but it didn't post so he sent me the link. I was out of town and just got it today. Here's the direct link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftBlIy3IWMk

It's the same as what was posted previously, but just direct.

The plan with the video is to have about a 3 minute video of boats in the water set to music to put on our website home page--this will be a "feel good" visual of how great the event was, etc. Then, we'll also put the testimonial videos on as well. Obviously, there will be a heck of a lot more video that he shot and I'll have him put together a DVD of the whole event. This will be a much longer video, so I'll have to have it dupilcated. There will be some sort of cost to the longer one, but I'm not sure what that will be. Thoughts?

Gayle,

Please do sell copies of the entire event. I really want to hear the interviews of the builders in front of their boats. A new release movies goes for what, $20.00 these days? That seems a good price. You have a business to run, don't give em away. But, we may now come to expect each Gathering to have a better video than the last year every year from now on. You have your work cut out for you next year.

Chris,
I guess Gayle heard you because the 2009 Gathering Highlights DVD is out. A newsletter update was sent 4 days ago.
Check it out: http://www.boatdesigns.com/prodinfo.asp?number=16-115
And yes it's $20.00.
Allen
