Hi Folks

Still working on the details but I think we are going to make it. I'm a little messed up travelling for work and arranging to close up our cottage here before I have to worry about the pipes freezing. It is one thing each weekend right after another.

I guess all of the space at the cabins has been spoken for? Looks like we will be in the campground, so I hope this is not too far away from everyone else.

If it all works out you can add my Bull's Eye, Sparrow to the list.

Cheers

Mark

The half-finished Bo-Jest is still a "maybe" for the Gathering. I am looking for a decent trailer but haven't located one as of now.

I plan to be there on Saturday either way, and look forward to meeting everyone.

Ok, I have gone and done messed myself up good.

I am bring my sea kayak (at the insistance of some that want to paddle with the loons at daybreak).

So I thought I would try to put some lipstick on the pound puppy and stripped it so I could fix some glaring epoxy fairing issues. Now here we are 7 days from having to point the old Ford south and I have no epoxy!

So guys, this has turned into an interesting twist and I hope (please, I am on my knees) that Gayle got my order of epoxy out on Monday. Gonna be a nail biter to have some type of finish on it in time.

I may air dry it going down the highway,

Dave

Let me know, I can bring epoxy on Friday and have you good to go on Saturday.

Having been a whitewater boater for 15 years, in fiberglass boats, I have duct tape

thank you Bill

It will have a couple of coats by then but it sure will not be where I want it. It was one of those moments draped over the hulls with the long board and the light bulb coming on "WHAT HAVE I DONE?"

Oh well, now I really have an excuse.

So, Saturday when everyone is milling around we can just say " now class, if would kindly step over here we will show you a classic example in improper project time management"

Update - Just got word from UPS - my epoxy shipment arrives tomorrow. Now time to hussle and turn up the heat in the shop.

I won't have the varnish layers back on but at least the epoxy will be back. Sigh of relief

Just pulled into G-ville Hampton Inn and there is a beautiful red/white Glen-L boat that looks very much like a Malahini in the parking lot.
