Grrr... not quite the same as where I am:

It seems like we skipped fall this year and jumped straight into winter.

Have fun everyone... perhaps next year I might get a chance to come down and enjoy the wonderful Guntersville, AL weather.

For the first time, we just might get rain this year. Usually, this part of the country is in its driest season in October but this year has been amazingly wet. And there doesn't seem to be much end in sight. But the way it's been raining, it wouldn't have been any better any other time of the year so we still stand the best chance of good weather by sticking to the dates.

Still, I hope it doesn't rain.

Well, that is a consideration for those that bring unfinished hulls

The other day I asked some neighbors if they'd help me get the Zip off of the trailer so I could finish the construction of the trailer. I didn't have room any where else so I just had the guys set the Zip's hull in the yard on the grass. It was starting to cloud up like rain was coming and one of the guys said: "Are you sure this is a good idea? It's looking like it's going to get wet."

I replied: "Well, it IS a boat."
