One thing about it Roberta, when you run aground in your new hobby,it's not as severe as your old one!!!

Don't want to clutter up this thread any more airplane stuff but I think I will make my confession in the "Miscellaneous" section. Those with a flying background might find it interesting.

Any update from HB? Do we need to give them card info to secure the rooms?

They said they wouldn't ask for the deposits until it was closer (?) to the event. I would call or email them to update your contact info.

I called them a few weeks ago to add a day to our reservation and the guy I spoke to took my cc number.

Does anyone have a list of rates from HB? I didn't write it down when I booked. I think I booked a Thurs-Sun and I'm pretty sure the Thurs night was a lot less.

I will have a quote for G6 in 2012 from The Ridges Resort on Lake Chatuge shortly and I'm expecting The Ridges to be more expensive.

Jeffh - the only rates we have are $99 per night for the cabins and 25% off on the RV spots.

There are 2 types of cabins: floating and land. The land ones are larger and I believe have a little higher price. Bill Edmundson is renting one of those and can advise.

Your question is a good one for there are some differences in the cabins. I see in my notes that I had a message to HB about pricing the different cabins but see no answer. That was a while ago so I don't know if there is no difference or I received no answer.

Time to start getting down to brass tacks. We are exactly 90 days from the shindig.

Thanks guys,
I'm going to call them back about the rate. I'm sure they charged me a different rate for the Thursday night and I'm pretty sure the guy charged me more than $99 for a floating cabin for two.

Talk to Bridgette. She is handling the G5 cabins.
