Oh, heck! We haven't even STARTED yet!
We're not bringing a boat until G6 - still got work to do on the web site!

I will show you how to build one out of popsicle sticks at G5. Maybe you can build one too and then you can proudly say you have built a boat.

Thursday run and overnight at the Delta Queen Ken?

I dunno Bob. Maybe you can twist the arm of John B and the Glen-L clan to meet us there, then we bring them back down to HalesBar in our boats on Fri.
What can we do to make this another Mini Gathering?

I'd like to make that run too and come back Thursday as well...just not sure I'll be getting there in time...I'll have to wait until time gets closer before I can commit.

I'd be up for that approach... (Thursday out and back). If I leave Toronto first thing Wed, I could probably start late morning Thurs.

I'm sure us "half milers" could meet up with the diehards.

That is my plan as well.

I intend on arriving Wednesday evening, make the run to Chattanooga, eat that lunch that Kens is raving about, and moseying on back. I understand Hot Rod wants to join in the fun as well

Are there locks on the TN River? I'd love to take a trip through locks. I was a passenger on a 60ft boat on the Panama Canal a few years ago. We went through both sets of locks along with a large cargo ship that towered above us.

MAN, I BEEN TRYING TO LOGIN FOR 5 DAYS AND FINALLY GOT THRU!!!!
I'll be there with Bob Maskel, so I go where he goes(up to a point, HAHAHAHA)...The plan is to spend a few days after G5 on the river, on his boat, and see if we are still friends afterward(snicker)....So, I up to what ever you guys want to come up with
Am ANXIOUSLY looking forward to the G5 happening...The food, the people and all....I will be missing my boat, but the railroad said they would NOT pull it behind the train.....
I meet Bob in St. Paul on the 11th(or 12th), and ride down with him to G5.....

PS need a bed or couch to sleep on at G5....PLEASE....

BOB call me 503-631-7238 or cell 503-312-2917..Will down at the coast ridin' ATVs till AUgust 22 or 23...Dwain, the everpresent, SKIIIIIIIIIII KIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNGGGGGGGG....

Dwain,
call the railroad. Amtrac has a train you can load your RV, boat, extra car, and offload it at your destination. I couldnt do it because my boat is oversize, yours might make it.
I was trying to get down to Miami-Ft. Lauderdale.
