82 days to go :!: Less for some of us! Do you know where your build is :?:

I know that many will not be able to commit until the last few weeks. That's fine. But, if you know that you're in (and not already on Daves list), LET US KNOW! It will incourage those who are on the fence.

You don't have to bring a boat! Just your B___! and have fun.

Bill

We're officially out of the shop with 58 days to spare.

Gayle has been razzing me about changing my sig line to 'Building and Rebuilding the Glen-L Hot Rod', so I didn't want to let her down this year ...

Latest revisions include shortened propeller shaft, smaller diameter 11x14p propeller, larger diameter aluminum exhaust S pipes and rerouting the crankcase ventilation plumbing. We have a front deck now and (cough!) upholstery. We'll save the dash cowl, coaming trim and final paint for next Winter. It's just too hot to be working in the shop. Yesterday's first run was a blast.

Even if your boat is a work-in-progress, we'd still like to see it at G5 !

Paul, Gayle and I REALLY want another ride on Hot Rod this year! And we're bringing a friend who used to race boats - I'm sure he'll want a ride, maybe lots of rides, too!
