As a result of my schedule change, I cannot make it to the Gathering this year.

I am still holding a reservation for a two bedroom cabin at Hales Bar Marina. (There is a little confusion about whether I am holding Cabin #1 or Cabin #2)

If anyone is looking for a cabin, please let me know by reply post AND PM, and I will work with you to transfer the reservation.

First-come, first-served.

Sorry I won't be there.

I suffer from an "embarrassment of riches"... Work is good and exciting, and I need to stay focused on that... at the same time, i'll be taking my daughter on a 4000 mile road trip to start University in Nova Scotia in the few days before the Gathering.

I'll miss you guys...

My "perfect streak" ends at 5. Who else is "unbroken"?

I'd try to guess, but I'm sure I'd forget someone, and embarrass myself.

Yeah, I think the week-earlier-than-last-year has messed up a couple folks. Lots going on and school starting that week also. Good luck with the road trip and the move-in and start for your daughter!!

Oh, and that work thing too....(work????) :D

This will be 6 "G's" for me...hard to believe time goes by so quickly...

And to think the event date was originally moved because of me and now I cannot go. What a mess of a year for a lot of us!!!

Ahh, the reason isn't important. It will never accommodate everyone all the time with everything people have going on...it seems we will be missing some of the "regulars" this year...Warren, Dwain, Dave L, Bruce Dow, ??? else because of conflicts...but the good news is maybe we will pick up some that wouldn't have been able to come later on!! Maybe it can be a thread or a topic at the "G" what week(s) seem to be 'best' (if there is such a thing) for folks' availability...

Due to other expenses I will not be able to make it to the Gathering this year. This is a diappointment for me as I was looking forward to meeting other Glen-L builders. I will just have to look forward to next year.

I just cancelled my reservation and floating cabin #7 should now be available.
