We'll mis you Allen, but you will enjoy the Grand Canyon. Are you staying in Phantom Ranch?

We certainly will Allen! I missed giving you a ride last year and was looking forward to giving you one this year...there's always next year.

I told my wife we needed a three-car garage for my projects...she told me to ask her for permission next time before I buy a house.

Folks. Life is "Good, but just a little complicated" this year.

So I will need to miss the Gathering.

It is a combination of many things: Work (good), family (great), state of the boat (OK), state of the trailer (not-so-good), other vacation plans (good).

I still have a reservation for Floating Cabin #1 (I think).

I will gladly pass that reservation to anyone who wants it.

If I have no takers in a week or so, I will call Hales Bar and cancel.

Planning to see everyone next year!

Bruce.

Was really wanting to see your Super Spartan, Roberta. We'll go all the way to Phantom Ranch the first day, via the South Kiabab trail. Day hike 1/2 way to north rim and back, second day. Up to Indian Gardens, third day and back to South rim, forth day. This will be my third and probably last time.

Vlad, Just read the article they had about you in Sport Aviation.
Enjoyed it. Still trying to get my 7A finished. Fly down to T36 sometimes, I'll give you the nickel tour of Tylertown and New Orleans.

Everyone else keep us posted with pictures from the Gathering. Will be there next year.

Allen

Sounds like a great trip, Allen!!! You'll love the 7A. We flew our's over the Grand Canyon and out to Page and Lake Powell in 2004. Also did some mountain flying in Colorado. I hooked up with a mountain instructor and did Kremmling, Aspen, Glenwood Springs and Leadville. I had a Hartzell BA prop and a Lycoming 0-360 A1A in mine.

sorry Roberta. The * after a name indicates they've have said they are still coming. Unmarked name indicate who signed up for the cabin.

Allen it looks like a great idea! Never been to Big Easy. 938 NM for RV is a quick hop. How about mid-late October?

There is one floating cabin just opened up.
Dave Lott turned his reservation over to me.
Gordon Groenveldt cancelled and turned his cabin over to me.
That left me with 2 cabins, I called Hales bar, kept one, and released one.
HB put me in #12, and released #10.
Oak is over rated, everything about it takes extra time; then it warps, splits or checks !!!
