I spoke with Art Atkinson "Squirt", this morning and we would be glad to help with something. What about a continental style breakfast for Sunday morning. I know that we will have to get on the road early because we will have about a 10 hour drive back to Michigan with our boats. This will be my first attendance at a gathering so I am not sure how late people stay on Sunday.

We could bring coffee cakes and orange juice.

Let us know what you think.. we are open to suggestions.

Ted Gauthier, "Zip".

Rich and I will also be leaving early on Sunday. We'll most likely catch a bite on the road as we'll be off by 6am, hopefully. We also have about a 12 hr drive back.

Hey Ted, How about some scrambled eggs to go with it?

That was discussed. We do scambled eggs every year in the camp at Oshkosh. It is simple to do, the way we do it and they turn out great.

We mix all the eggs up in a bowl, pre cut all the fixins ( onions, peppers, cheese and such) and put it all out on a table.

We set up a pot of boiling water, magic marker and Zip lock bags.

You walk by, write your name on a bag, put two scoops of eggs and all the things that you like in an omlette, seal it up and 5 min. later you will have your favorite omlette. It even comes out folded.

I was not sure if they would allow you to cook out on the docks.

We just thought if we set up a continental breakfast, then people could grab a quick bite and go....even if they departed at 6am. We just did not want to stay late and clean things up or wait for things.

We'll be bringing the dockside firepower (triple burner Coleman propane stove), Tim Horton's coffee (Gayle has developed a serious addiction to it over the years !) and enough Canadian maple syrup to get everyone's sugar level up. Unfortunately, we can't do much with a skillet but the stove will be available for anyone to use.

Well... Gayle sent an empty box with a note that said "Thanks for bring this wine to the Gathering."

That's my story and I'm sticking to it :!:

Roberta: I'll bring our usual quota of maple syrup. If we're not floating pancakes with it, there will be that much more for you to bring home

The Greek wine box is from George Yiannoulis. I'll do my best to pronounce it at the Gathering.
