Ive just about got my hull glassed. where the glass is laped over on the kell, when sanding i started to touch the glass.( did not go through, just started to touch.) and also blending in the 2nd side you can see the edge where i feathered it in. is this going to cause me any problems down th road ?

only the areas finished "bright" (not painted) would be a problem

If you can see a ridge now, you will see it when finished also. Take the time to get it flush to where you wont feel it especially up forward by the stem where you will see it once flipped. A slight bump at the overlap shouldnt be noticable to performance though.
I did sand through the mesh at the edge of the overlap where the end of the cloth left a ridge. Then coated on a little more epoxy to the exposed fibers, sanded smooth again and painted over, the overlap is then invisible.

Yes I have it feathered in smooth but can see the fibers ( not feel then). and i am painting the hull. So im i ready to go or more epoxy? Didnt know if the edge of the fibers would do something funky to the paint. I tryed to take some pixs but it would show up.

If you can feel fibers exposed then you need to put another couple thin layers of epoxy to burry them. A light sand overtop to smooth the surface after it fully cures. You don't want expoxed fibers anywhere, as it will trap dirt and look terrible.

Basically, add 2 layers of epoxy to sand 1 layer off. You can apply the 2nd coat of epoxy while the 1st coat is still tacky... like you did when filling the epoxy.

Its not uncommon, don't beat yourself up about it. Filling epoxy mesh on a sloped surface can lead to uneven spots like that.

If you're painting the hull sides, still make everything smooth. It will show thru the paint if your not careful. Think of it as your going brightsides before the paint is applied. Travis
