Can the glassed over wood be left clear?

Problems, how to use. Also see: "EPOXY", in the left-hand column of the Home page.

then some kind of varnish with a UV inhibitor.
Can't leave clear epoxy exposed to the sun. The UV rays break it down over time.

Once you wet out the glass, you put on 2 or 3 more coats of epoxy to fill the weave. Now you can sand it smooth. It will look gray. just put some water on it and you can see that it will be clear. Coat this with marine varnish or PU clearcoat for UV protection.

I sprayed automotive polyurethane paint clear coat over the epoxy.
Works GREAT ! ! !
Oak is over rated, everything about it takes extra time; then it warps, splits or checks !!!
