I purchased a big drum of epoxy last fall and put some in small cans in the garage until spring. I was gluing a rocking chair back together and found one large can said east system on it and one small can said west system, mixed them together and came back later in the day. It didn't harden. Panic set in. Did the cold destroy the epoxy or did I mix them wrong. So I cleaned the joint and mixed it more carefully. Came back next day, it was still liquid. OH NO!

So I went to the can and started reading the label looking for information on storage temperature. Well as you might have guessed there is no cold storage warning. So I wondered and stared at the can a little longer and noticed both cans were hardener. DOH!

Or in this case not. At least you didn't end up with a partially cured mess.
