Had a great time at G6. Stuck in traffic in ATL due to accident. KC says its because of the boat we're towing home. Everybody keeps asking about it. I figure it will take a year to do all the things we want to change and make better. Special thanks to all that worked tirelessly to make this year so enjoyable.

Luckily, Red called and gave me the heads up about the traffic jam in ATL so we were able to take the back way home and miss the jam! We went ahead and made our cabin reservations for G7 before we even left.

As always, it was an excellent time. Thanks to everyone!

The Gallery for all photos from G6 is now up and running! See it at the top of this page: http://boatbuilders.glen-l.com/boatbuilding-galleries/

Please add you photos so everyone can see them. Just create a new gallery with a name like "G6" or "Gathering 2012" and then we'll move all of your photos from your gallery into the 2012 master gallery.

Be sure and send Gayle or me an email letting us know the name you gave your gallery and your name as well so we can correctly give credit where credit is due.

Thanks!

Oliver IV's redo is nearly complete and will be ready for the 2013 season. We have Floating Cabin #9 at Hales Bar reserved for the 19th thru the 22nd of September.

We're up on the hill again. Probably have Vlad as a guest again. Lot of people signed up before we even left.

I have no idea if the Bartender will be ready. But, I'm working on it!

Katie and I are planning to attend.
We reserved #8. We'll be arriving 9/19 in the afternoon if all goes well.

I will be there with a couple friends. Planning arrival on Tuesday, 9/17 very late afternoon and departing Sunday afternoon. I have reserved one of the three bedroom cabins halfway up the hill. My Gentry should be 100% this time. We are all really looking forward to another great gathering. Neel

At this point I'm planning on being at the "top" of the Tenn-Tom on the 15th...need to do the upper 115 miles I didn't last year due to lock maintenance. Should be at HB on the trailer by the 18th or 19th. Am planning on trying to run the Alabama afterwards if the locks are still open...then head back down and across Mobile Bay and farther into Florida this time. We'll seeeee, but G7 is the main plan!! Hopefully the weather will cooperate for a lunch run to Chattanooga again!! Maybe some of the folks we missed last year will be able to make it to G7 this year, and make the lunch run also!
