One of the many arches we were able to see in the valley. Richard and our guide climbed up. I was a wuss.

One of the things that I loved out there was how the color of the rock changed as the sun changed. Keep rubbing it in Roberta! I wish that I could have made this trip, too. But, there's just so much we can do. I have to finish this boat sometime.

The western folks that aren't making the trip... You screwed up!

This has been an amazing trip. Way more than just the gathering. People should not have thought of just the boating aspect because there is so much more to do. We'll be at Lake Powell tomorrow.

Last night we had a little rain at sunset that produced a rainbow over the monument. Even more stunning was today's sunrise.

So beautiful out there. Have you gone out at night to see what the sky really looks like (without the light pollution)?

Glad to see you're enjoying the trip. Hope all of you have a great time this weekend.

Wow, those are some truly beautiful photos, Roberta! They remind me of my first trip to the southwest, in 1996. Ironically, the first time I experienced those intense early-light colors was at the very place you're going to. I rolled out of a tent at the Wahweap Marina campground at sunrise, after driving through the night from Durango. I couldn't believe my eyes. Seconds later, I wound up standing in the water with my camera & tripod to get the shot I wanted. What a beautiful part of the country.

Keep 'em coming! And have a great time!

Got out on the lake today. Water was a little rough so we stayed closer to WahWeap Bay. Went by the dam and by Window ROCK.

Hi, Marco.

We had a great time on the lake yesterday, but it was rough. We decided to pull the boat out, but we did enjoy what we saw. Today we did a cruise to Rainbow Bridge. Been having a great time visiting Ron and Rod. Rod's wine is awesome. Here are some pictures. Tomorrow we're driving to the north rim.

Holder isn't ours Rod. We got home fine. Maybe you should get rid of that Doge and get a ford truck. We left Sunday too and camped at Otter Creek Res. Took the RZR out on the Paiute trail. Was a lot cooler than Powell.
