Hi Glen
I'm with you . Go with the "Edgewater Holiday Park" Considering the distances people are potentially travelling I say the gathering should run from Friday 25 October with official kick off say late afternoon BBQ on site or local club meal. People could arrive anytime they want of coarse. Wind up Sunday afternoon, 27 October. Some people may want to stay over to make an early start on Monday.

We can work out what shared meal arrangement or not at a later date when we study the facilities in more depth, but to be fair to the venue we need some indication of numbers by some date. Perhaps by the end of May.
Was it Jamie "Aussie " or Tim Majors who was compiling a list of Aussie builders. If we got a copy of that then we could perhaps draft a form PM with details of event and get them to indicate if they are likely to come to it?
Don't know if I am overworking or thinking this but these are my thoughts. What do people think?

Thanks Peter. Al, who helps me has a ute, but at this stage I don't have a trailer. Found a place that does them for $2750, hoping to convince the Admiral. Was going to make one but time is not on my side.. :)

Yes the date is fixed as per the "Inaugural Assie Glen-L Gathering" thread. So far I have 13 positive replies, about 22 including partners and children. Hopefully more boats in future years as some have not completed their boats as yet. If anyone has suggestions as to what form the gathering should take it would be great to hear from you.
Some suggestions:
. Maybe a BBQ on the Saturday night on site (Anchorage Room Kitchen)
.Run up the Hastings River. (Maybe Saturday afternoon)
.Show and Tell Open to public (Saturday Morning / Sunday Morning)

Just some ideas to get the ball rolling

Name tags for G1 , what are your thoughts on it . we could just print our names on a piece of cardboard and pin it to our pockets for this one.
