Inaugural Aussie Glen-L Gathering

Postby Tony Hain » Tue Mar 19, 2013 3:01 pm

This is an open invitation to the "Inaugural Aussie Glen-L Gathering". :D
When: Friday 25 October to Sunday 27 October 2013
Where: Edgewater Holiday Park, Port Macquarie, NSW.

At present we have contacted the management of the Edgewater and they would be very pleased to accomodate our group and even offer 10% group discount. Their website can give you an idea of their facilities and accomodation types. To gain a discount you simply have to tell them that you are a part of the Glen-L Gathering. The link to Edgewater Holiday Park is http://www.edgewaterholidaypark.com.au

In future postings we will give you further details as to when final bookings have to be made as well as any other information about the event.

To help plan for the event I will keep a register of those who think they might be able to attend. To facilitate this it would be helpful if you could PM me the following details:
Name
Contact details
Possible numbers attending
Bringing a boat?
Day of arrival
Do you want to share accomodation?
Do you want to car pool?

Hopefully with commitment our gathering will grow into an annual event even attracting other Glen-L enthusiasts from overseas.

If you have any questions please post on this thread or PM me and I will try and help.

I have booked room S86. It is closest to the boating area so hopefully we can keep an eye on the boats.

Trackhappy,
Did they require an upfront deposit or is it by a certain date?

At this point they haven't asked me for a deposit, and they do not seem concerned about booking by a certain date, I guess it must be off-season.

Well we are definitely off and running. At this early stage so far we have 14 people signed up to attend. Hopefully a Cracker Box, Gentry, Monaco and a Zip. Remember if you hope to attend then let us know on the thread or PM me so I can help keep you informed.
