Old Aussie was getting comments at petrol stations about his nice sail boat...or has your outboard fallen off?

This is not Bill...Guess Who? I've had such a great trip with all the magnificent scenery and wonderful people. The best was truly the last. I am hard pressed to describe the time I had with all the boat builders. I can honestly say that boat builders are the very best no matter which side of the globe you are on. The Gathering was an absolute success. Please keep it going. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness to us. It was like being with family...when you get right down to it, we are all family. It takes a special breed to undertake the monumental task of building a boat. I really enjoyed being a part of the first launch of the Gentry. Really loved my ride on the "African Queen" (Hunky Dory) and the screaming good time we had on the Monaco. I feel I've been blessed to be a part of your first gathering. I hope some of you will join us in the future. Thanks again for everything.

Who????
Seriously, it was great to have you here. What happens on The Gathering stays on The Gathering, but Cats Rule, if you know what I mean...

Thank you for helping launch my Gentry. I failed to provide a name for the ceremony, but when I come up with one I will be certain to call upon your knowledge of the deep to help.
The Gathering was most definitely a fun success, and we were very lucky to have you along to share the first one with us.
P.S. I need your postal address to send the Vegemite over... ;)
By the time I have built a boat, I'll be ready to build a boat....

Goodness! I am not sure the lovely Vegemite will make it beyond US customs. They may use it for axle grease!
Once again,

I have to admit, I lost it with some of the names. I though Danny had the Hunky Dory, and Jeff was driving Gentry for me. Please anybody who has it right let me know and I'll edit the posts to make sure it is right.

Hi Glen, all I can tell you is that when Danny introduced himself to me, on Friday as I was parking my boat near his Hunky Dory, he said "I'm Danny, I bet you won't remember that in the morning".........but I did :D

(and If I got that name wrong........ :? ,I'd like to know also) Put your hand up Danny ! or Joe ! or ? ! whoever you are, your a damn fine welder !

I think we made it out of Port Macquarie in time. A damaging storm with hail went through PM on Tuesday. See story at "Port Macquarie News"
