I am still holding onto a three-bedroom land cabin, so if anyone is interested in it let me know. It is the middle cabin of three about half way up the big hill. It has three bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen and living room. It also has a covered deck overlooking the marina. I have been holding it for a Glen-L group and I won't give it up until a week or so before the gathering. It is reserved for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, but that could be changed easily.

PS. Nice table saw Bill !!

I spoke to reservations at Hales Bar today and they still have plenty of floating cabins available as well. Hitch up that boat of yours and come join us!!!

Where are you? We have people who come along way. Maybe someone in your area that you could share with.

:? not going to make it after all the reason to go to Ohio was a fake I got as far as Kansas when I found out and turned around. my oldest son has a mental problem he called me and told me his roof caved in and a floor joist had broken and he wanted to sell his house and move to Utah. nothing wrong with house and he decided after me traveling 750 mile that he did not want to move. maybe another year I will make it there. there went the money for my shop blue prints. :(

Man! This thing just about snuck-up on me. I just came home from the coast on Sunday. I'll have to go back next week and get the boat. And, I haven't made the chili yet.

Bill the priority list should be..... #1 Chili, #2 Boat

I just got off the phone with Hales Bar and cancelled the second land cabin I had reserved. It is a three bedroom unit halfway up the hill. So that is now available. I was hoping to speak to Courtney about the list of improvements we had requested, but she won't be in till Thursday. I will check in with her then to make sure they are ready for us...

There is a thread about the Friday boat run to Chattanooga for lunch. I am trying to get an idea of how many boats will be going, how many empty seats we have for others wanting to ride along, and if you would like to catch a ride, let us know either here or on the other thread.

Thanks,,,Neel

Good news from Hales Bar..... I finally got in touch with Courtney this afternoon to get the status of our request for improvements. I am happy to report that according to Courtney all items on our list have been checked off. I will be down there to check things out on Monday 9/15. Although we requested some repairs be made to the docks, and those items were on the list, I am not holding my breath for those improvements. After I have gone over everything with Courtney I will make another report, probably on Tuesday 9/16. No news on new owners. They still have some one and two bedroom floating cabins available along with a few one and three bedroom land cabins. So if you haven't signed up yet, now is the time. For those binging boats, don't forget to bring swimming noodles to act as dock fenders. All take care,,,, Neel
