Well, It may be time to think of food.

I plan on doing Brunswick Stew on Friday night. KenS usually does a Low Country Boil on Friday night. But, Ken's life has changed. He plans to come. But, cooking is probably not an option.

Butch Barto and I usually have coffee out, I will, in the morning and hot water for tea or hot chocolate.

That leaves a lot of room for help!

Time to step up!

Bill

I can do something for either Friday dinner or any meal on Saturday or Sunday. Craig doesn't know it yet, but he will actually be doing the cooking. Are you sure you are not going to make your chili this year Bill? That was really something. Maybe you could teach us how you make it after you show us the Flemish knot !!!

Nothing is a done deal yet! The Chili is actually a little easier than the B-Stew.

Bill:

If you want to make your famous Chili, Becky says she'll make a crock pot of Brunswick Stew and a large bowl of Coleslaw. She's thinking of making some other stuff, but nothing firm yet. She's flexible, so keep this thread going.

My cook isn't coming this year but I can do a hot meal in the crock pot or if we have plenty of hot stuff I can do tossed salad with assorted dressings and toppings.

Bill. I really enjoy both your stew and your chili. But the stew is more unique for me so I vote for that.

Laura and I will bring beer and wine again, as well as good eats yet to be determined. Any requests?

Ken, I am planning on bringing a 'log' (1/6) of local brew. Naughty Nurse or Old Yankee. What would be your pleasure?

Well, Gayle and I can't be there this year, but for what it's worth I've always been MUCH more attracted to Naughty Nurses than to Old Yankees....

Ok, I'm sure if I was talking humans, l would pick a 'Naughty Nurse' over an 'Old Yankee' who smells like fish, however, beer advocate agrees with me that the 'Old Yankee' is more enjoyable than the 'Naughty Nurse' when it comes to beer. I'm not a beer snob so the 'Nurse' is fine with me. In fact, I would score them pretty close.
Nurse = 2 votes (John & Ken)
Yankee = 1 vote (me)
Every vote counts! Chime in here.
Friday, Laura & I will do a Low Country Boil with 'Slap Ya Mama' seasoning. Pairs nicely with 'Old Yankee'. Just sayin'....

I remember you gave me an Old Yankee a couple years ago Bergy. I thought it was a great beer and would enjoy some more. But naughty nurses are always intriguing. I'll have to bring a case of local brew for the beer connoisseurs to review.
