Thanks Jamie. Just to clarify, you plus 5 guests - 6 total. When you book with them, you can sort out adults/children/beds required etc.
Cheers,
Glenn.

Hi
I should be there, so that's 1, but no boat yet!

Just a heads-up...

I tried to book at Blue Dolphin but they wanted a deposit of one nights accommodation to confirm the booking. This many months out, I felt that I didn't want to give them a couple hundred dollars, so I have elected to wait. I also found out they only have one 3 bedroom unit and it is now booked out for that weekend.

Excerpt from the letter sent:

Deposit payment options as follows:
 CREDIT CARD: Mastercard and Visa cards are accepted, please phone the reception to provide your details.
 CHEQUE: Must be receives 10 days or more prior to arrival and please remember to include your reservation number.
Postal address; Po Box 21, Yamba NSW
 DIRECT DEPOSIT: Please contact the reception to notify us of the transfer.
Please note full payment of your reservation is due upon arrival.
Cancellation Policy:
 Date Changes - once without penalty, based on the availability at the time of date change. Changes must be made at least 14 days prior to your
arrival date. If within 14 days cancellation policy applies.
 Cancellations incur an administration fee of 20% of 1 night’s accommodation for cancellations made at least 14 days prior to the arrival date.
 Cancelling your reservation within 14 days of your arrival date will incur a loss of your deposit in full.

Pretty strict stuff......

Hi all,

Alan has done some sleuthing for us.

Glenn
We drove down to Yamba today and had a look around the Blue Dolphin Resort.

Pros: Very tidy and well organised resort
Friendly and obliging service
Good clean accommodation
Good community areas. One outside under cover, the
other enclosed, both with several barbies.
Wash bay for the boats
Safe parking for cars and boat next to cabins
(depending on cabin type chosen) WSV 1-9 have space

Cons: Due to the ramp taper the boat ramp is not suitable to
our boats that have to be floated off. Both at high and low tide.
However 50 metres down the road is a good public ramp with
adequate trailer parking.
The pontoons at both ramps have minimal tie up
spots, but there is probably enough space at the BDR pontoon for the 4-5
Glen-L boats.

Regards
Alan Close

Thanks Alan.
No show stoppers here. Do we want to plan some river runs?

Lauren & I wish we would come back! But, not going to happen. It's very gratifying that you are going for AG2. I think you learned last year about the friendships that are made doing this. Nobody can tell you the value. You have to experience it.

Hi everyone,

Daniel Bischa here, I'm tentatively looking at being there with 5 other guests, no boat (unless a miracle happens and I finish my glen-l 13 before then!). Arrival likely to be Friday evening.

Daniel

AG2 is approaching quickly. In order to plan activities at the AG2, those who intend coming and have not already indicated, could you make sure you add your name and particulars to the list. We hope to take a bit of action footage at the gathering so could those with a camcorder or the like please bring it along. Look forward to seeing you there.

This is just a shameless bump to get this into everybody's faces. AG2 very close now. I will unfortunately not be able to attend, but I am sure You will all make up for my lack of availability.

Anyone laid out a rough schedule? What's for dinner?
