Leaf Stain on Vinyl

Post by hoodman »

Here's one for the hive mind. I've tried soap and water as well as a $10 bottle of magic do-it-all cleaner and I can't seem to get rid of this leaf stain on my white vinyl. Anyone have any suggestions?

Matt,
Whenever I'm faced with trying to remove a difficult stain, my 3 favorite ingredients are Tide plus Bleach laundry detergent, temperature, and time. Try mixing up a solution of Tide plus Bleach in very warm water and apply it to the stain. Then let it sit for a while, over night if possible. If the first application moves the needle but doesn't completely remove the stain, try again. If that doesn't work, the next option is chlorine bleach. But I wouldn't go there until I determined whether or not an oxygen-based bleach would do the job.

You could try a product called "Off the Wall " . It is a cleaner used for getting stains off vinyl swimming pool liners. Available at pool supply stores and made by Biogarde.
