Go to an auto parts store and get one of the small body filler spreaders, that's what I use

Or buy online at a place like this: http://www.autobodytoolmart.com/bondo-spreaders-boards-c-614.aspx

A bit of a sidenote, I use flexible putty knifes with the handles on them. I also use cement trowels. If you look in the wallpapering section of the big box stores, there are long handled tools too. The larger plastic squeezes can be cut in half for smaller ones with the bandsaw. Avoid cleaning all of your epoxy tools with high dollar chemicals too by using plain old vinegar.

You could also wait for the big squeegees to have pups.
I also use the flexible body putty spreaders that Oyster mentioned and a 6 inch roller I purchased from West Marine. I prefer the roller wherever I might have a problem with stretching or pulling the cloth and weakening it.

That's what I did. I put two large squeegees together and they were worse than rabbits. I have little squeegees running all over the shop.
You can use anything that's flexible. I would not use a stiff putty knife or scraper. If it has a handle you don't get as much on your hands. :D

If you're a Walmart fan, they have a 3 pack of small spreaders in the auto section, next to the auto body filler (Bondo).

Old credit cards work for small areas and have a nice small radius for corners

You could use the small shower squeegees as well....5-6" blades, comfortable handle. Look in the shower section of most big box stores or grocery stores.

20 for 8 bucks. This is where I get them. I have a store local so I don't need to ship.
