Just found an add online for a nearby store that is selling a gallon of elmers fiberglass resin for $10.
Just wondering what people think of this price/product?
Thanks

Have never used or heard of it before. I would try it on some scrap lumber before using it on a boat. Tried an epoxy paste called PC-11 because it's price was great. Ended up redoing my chine to stem junction when I found the stuff held nothing. You'll never be disappointed with the tried and true..

I would assume that its an old school polyester product.

I have noticed it at the big box lumber yards. I agree, it is polyester resin - not epoxy.

I used the Elmer's product to create this knife handle. It's 20+layers of denim, saturated in the resin and pressed between two flat steel bars in a bench vise.

I like the stuff.
