( 1) This is my first layer as you see white spots >>>>>>Not bubbles :!: and there dead flat and very hard.all i can think is i overworked the epoxy or it was to cold.what do you think ? (2) because of work the rest of my boat is coated and its fully cured should i wash it and scuff it with a scotch brite pad ?

I'm not sure. But, it looks like you didn't get a complete wet out of the cloth.

What did you use to spread the epoxy and work it into the fiberglass?

Classic dry layup.

Work smaller areas at a time or switch to a slower hardener.

How big of an area is effected?
How big are the average spots?
How many coats of resin are in that picture?
How thick is the resin, ... can you still feel the weave pretty good?

Well its going to stay on! its still on well and i trust it !,just dosent look good im going to grapite it anyway or paint the bottom and 1 ft.on the sides.ill go slower next time and work in smaller areas and not go on till each area is filled.im not happy with it at all but im sure as hell not going to tear it off because its ok and secure its just ugly till its covered.

No need to tear it off, it's an easy fix.

I have fixed dry layups such as your by using thin CA glue such as this. http://www.zapglue.com/cas/

This is how I did it. Take a pin, such as a stick pin or a T pin and try to poke into the weave in a few spots and then wick in the thin Ca. It will draw down into the glass and fill the voids. When you see the plywood darken then you know you got that one for sure. After you fill in the voids, ... scuff up and lay another layer of epoxy down.

When laying up glass, just work a 3'x3' area and when that is saturated, move over to the next 3'x3' area until your covered, ... the same goes with laying just epoxy with no glass. soon you'll be doing 4x4 then 4x8's.

If it worries you to have the spots, ... you can always go over it with a finer weave like 1 oz.
