fiberglass

Postby korn » Tue Dec 17, 2013 6:28 pm

Hi, I am building the Dinky and was wondering if I should fiberglass the hull before installing the shears or after! Or..could I just run the cloth up to the shear and cut it?

It sounds like you are referring to a rub-rail at the sheer (?). Personally, I would glass the hull first and then mount the rub-rail, so that it could be removed and replaced if (when) it gets beat-up.
