Do This Before You Begin Fiberglassing and Painting

Post by BayouBengal »

In Glen-L's online store, they sell a package deal of 20 foam rollers for $35.

BUY THEM!

Order them now so you'll have them on hand; you'll use more rollers than you think. Otherwise, you'll find yourself like me always thinking you only need a couple more rollers so you just run down to West Marine and pick them up. At $5 a shot per roller at the local West Marine store, they've worn my wallet out.

As far as I'm concerned, WM is the last resort. They've got my money. But, not without a fight!

I'm with bill, west is overpriced. The least they could do would be repackage, or camouflage their product so you didn't see the exact same thing for 1/3 the price somewhere else.

Foam rollers are the only way to spread that epoxy. I agree, you must have them and you only get one use out of each roller. I use the 6" mini foam rollers. They are a little easier to get into small places.

Also, I agree with everyone regarding West Marine. That place is a joke. I don't know how they stay in business selling stuff for 3 or 4 times what others do.

It could very well be that they may be the only game in some
areas. Here at the Jersey shore, the local marinas, West, Boaters World
and the likes all charge the same high prices. :(
I guess they figure if one can get the higher price, they all can jump on the band wagon.
GREED - For some it can be a wonderful thing!!!!!!!!!! :(
If you don't build it now, You will regret it later! Already regreting it
