G-9 Report

Post by Bill Edmundson » Mon Sep 21, 2015 9:32 am

Another Great Year of Friends. That's the bottom line.

Thursday night we all went to Neel & Craig's cabin for dinner. And, caught up with each other. Good food, great friends.

Friday's run to Chattanooga was great fun. I think we had 7 boats. Big River Grill has good food and great service.

We had one boat, I CC., damaged when a JERK came by Hales Bar throwing a huge wake. It has a deck crack. It will be ok. But, it shouldn't happen.

I'm still unloading the truck and boat. I'll go thru my pictures later and post them.

Thanks for the initial report, Bill and we look forward to more info! I've enjoyed seeing Bob & Barnacle Mike's photos on Facebook over the weekend. Glad you all had fun!

AWARDS :!: WE did our different awards as usual.

Pinch Hitter Award - Marbeth Dietrich.
We did Italian sausage, onions & peppers on Friday. When people started smelling they all came. Lauren could not keep up with the peppers and onions. Marbeth pulled out another stove and pan and started another station. Thank you.

Professor Gadget/Silent Shepherd - Neel Thompson.
For all the STUFF he has in his boat. And, to recognize the work he does for the Gatherings that most people don't know about.

King of Forum Trivia - Mike Daulphinias
There is not much on the forum that Mike does not know.

Wet Willie Award - Wayne Conklin
Wayne did this not once. But, he did it twice. He fell in the water.

Spin Doctor - Keith McLean
Keith has brought his karaoke equipment for several years now. He brings a lot of fun to a lot of people. Even I sang a few(Scary ain't it.).

Finally.

Omega & Alpha - Glen Witt and Roberta Hegy
Glen's Latest and Greatest Design and Roberta first build of the Torpedo.

Financial Report.

After buying beer, soft drinks, ice and the koozies, our net gain from the flea market was about $75. The "Kitty" is now $613. That makes sure we get started up on G-10. Thanks everyone.
