I do remember the steep banks at Shasta although there are nice flat areas as well. We always docked the boats on the beach for the duration of the stay. Deer would come right up to the boats. One other thing I remember is the very red dirt. And at night, the starts were fantastic. Made me realize what I was missing by living "civilized" :lol:

Dave: I wish I could say I was able to pay for those trips, but we happened to have a few friends with 7 figure incomes that invited us every year.
