Great response so far... Thanks everyone. We still haven't heard from Bob Maskel and I know there are other boats coming to the Gathering that may also be part of the "Lunch Run". I will put a list together in a week or so. Looking like it will be a fun day .....

Wish we could be there in our Geronimo or at least for a ride but we wont be there until later in the afternoon.

Add one little Squirt to the run. 70 miles in an 11ft boat, sounds like a relaxing ride. I'll pack a mini cooler and some water proof popcorn to snack on.

Bill,
Is fuel readily available at the Chattanooga marina? If not, I'll need to tanker an extra 3 gallon tank for the the trip.

Matt

I'm sure there is a fuel dock up there somewhere. I just never need it with that diesel in the Tahoe.

There is a self serve gas pump at the marina dock near where we tie up.
I think we had to get them to turn it on by running up to the store.
I remember it was hard to read the display in the bright sunlight.

]Boats Going Owner # in boat of empty seats People Needing Ride

Gentry Neel Thompson 4 0 Dr. Bryan J.
Torpedo Roberta 2 0 Bob and Leda Sorci
Malahini Bob Brandenstein 2 2 Barry and Rosemary
Belle Isle Jim and Ruthie Jatho 2 5 total (2 under 5’8”) (Ibrew2be)
Mont Carlo John Amundsen 3 3 Gayle and John B.
Zip Devesh 2 0
Epiphany Bob Smith 2 2
Sea Knight Bob Maskel 2 1
Tahoe Butch Barto 2 2
Squirt Matt (Hercdrvr) 2 0
??? Bartender Bill Edmundson 2 ???

As of today, the above is fairly accurate (I think). I am still not sure if Bill E. will be taking his Bartender, and after looking through the other Gathering Posts, I am sure others will be needing rides. Here is my guess of others I think will be coming in on Thursday and could possible want to make the Lunch Run on Friday as passengers or with their boats:

Matt and wife (hoodman), Brian D., Kevin and Ray, Keith, Dave and Melissa Fannon, Barnacle Mike, Denzil and Vida Duncan, Ken and Flor, Dave NZ, Dave Grason, Mark and wife Chadwil, Brad and wife Tucker, and Ranny.

Please help me fill in the blanks so I will be able to give a fairly accurate count to the marina and restaurant…. Thanks, and sorry for any spelling errors,,,,,, Neel

My spread sheet didn't come out exactly as I thought. So here are the people I know need rides:

Dr. Bryan J.
Bob and Leda Sorci
Barry and Rosemary
(Ibrew2be)
Gayle and John B.

We should have around 14 total seats available. So we should be able to take another seven. Unless we have more boats going.

Try this out. Still don't know my plans. I won't be able to make those until this coming Sunday. I'd love to be able to catch a ride Friday, but I don't want to make plans yet.

Thanks Brian for posting what I was trying to do. Maybe you could explain the process to me in TN.

Thanks! But I considered that more as giving me some slack when I inevitably goof and have dumb questions. Something along the lines of "Managed to install the outboard motor upside down, will it still work?" (I hope I don't have that particular one!)

I've spent way too much time on forums. That code block keeps spaces where you want. Then I just played around with preview and spacebar until it looked right. You could quote the post and kinda see what happened.

Hope to see you there!
