Hi mcmbuilder
I just received so many spare tips with the gun in the wrong size I thought I could utilise them, Ill buy some, there about the same price here, maybe a little more expensive. I'm sure after cutting all the shapes on the cnc I will have plenty of little scrap pieces for run on and off bits.
Now here is a stupid question what's the best way to keep them in place? you cant use magnets, and clamps would be a pain.
Let the adventure begin!
Thanks to all

To be honest, I have never used weldout tabs on joints as small as you are talking about. When I do use them I always tack them to the weldment. If possible I do it in such a manner I can simply break them off by breaking against the weld.
