Florence. Looks like it could take a run up the coast next Thursday-Friday, which could be an issue for folks traveling. Hopefully, it won't affect the G directly (knock on a wood boat).

Less than 1 week and weather forecast looks good. I don't think Florence will make it to TN, but coast is definitely going to get hit hard.

Let's hope the heavy rain and storms they push ahead of them don't happen. Puts it right overhead Fri-Sat.

I think we are going to luck out on this one. It's going to get nasty over in Kackalacky though.

Too early to call if we gonna luck out on this one.
It seems to me that the late season storms tend to go up the Carolina coast and into New England,
Not to mention that the strong storms suck up all the clouds and moisture around the periphery of the storm.
We might be left around the periphery.
Oak is over rated, everything about it takes extra time; then it warps, splits or checks !!!

Boatbuilders by nature are positive, hardworking, and resourceful; if they weren't, they wouldn't be able to build a boat. Weather, good or bad, this is going to be a fantastic gathering. Can't wait to see everyone.

We've just arrived in the North Georgia mountains to spend some time here before coming over to Hales Bar. Looking forward to seeing everyone Thursday night. Craig, bring your singing voice; we're going to sing a heartfelt duo

Why should Craig bring his singing voice? He never brought it before.
