I don't think Rich and I will be doing G14. With all that is going on, we decided to just stay close to home. We have a big trip planned for later this year and don't want to jeopardize that in any way. Sorry, and see you next time..

I have a reservation for a floating cabin. Not sure which one. I'll be bringing the admiral this year.

Vicky and I are bringing the Sea Knight, but after being in the 90 degree boat cabin with mosquitoes last year we will be in floating cabin #5 from Wed-Sat nights this year.

Well scratch that, I guess we won't. They don't allow cats. Sooooo, we will see.

My boat won't make it. Undergoing a 14-year re-fit.
Can you believe 14 years since first splash??
It looks it too, 14 years of no maintenance, it needs paint, fixing up, bilge deep cleaning, and a de-lam.
But then I ask, if you took a fiberglass boat and did NO maintenance for 14 years what would that look like???
Oak is over rated, everything about it takes extra time; then it warps, splits or checks !!!

This is unacceptable! Your baklava is a Gathering staple. Maybe we can overnight FedEx in your dessert.

Matt and Tom

That would work. When Chris Atwood was going through chemo I sent him a few packages of chili. I knew he could taste that. It got there fine!

I will have to look into mailing spaghetti !! After much thought and going back and forth on attending G-14, Craig and I have decided to chicken out this year. It was a tough decision, but we simply don't want to chance getting sick. I will miss seeing everyone and will be counting down the days to G-15. If needed, I would be happy to help with Friday lunch reservations/docking in Chattanooga for the "Lunch Run" or anything else I could do from Pennsylvania to lend a hand. It's shaping up to be a good turnout and I trust everyone will have a great weekend at Hales Bar. Sorry,,,, All take care,,, Neel

I know that feeling, Neel. It's not being chicken. At 70, I need to excercise caution and discretion with daily life. Better days are coming and staying safe will help ensure we will see them and, once again, be together. Here's to the better days.

Cheers,

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't concerned about it as well.
