:( With great pain and lots of thought Lauren and I are out this year. Lauren has nerves about the virus. Her mother has lung problem already and now may have congestive heart. The mother's boy friend(88) has cancer and has decided not to fight it. Too Much Crap.

If you have committed, I just showed you in the cabin from last year. Let me know if it is not right. Hales Bar has been difficult to reach. It took me 4 tries. It took Butch B. seven. Keep trying.

We know there are many more. We just have not seen commitments yet. Let us know! Some of these haven't commented yet. But I pretty sure of.

Bill, we'll miss you and Lauren. But totally understand your trepidation. My wife and I will be in one of the floating cabins. I forgot to ask which one.

Bill, could you put us down please? We have an RV space reserved. We will be bringing alligator legs and Cajun boudin. When you feel that you have a total number on attendees please let us know so we can bring enough.
Thanks,

Still thinking about coming with the Tango Skiff (not a glen-l, sorry) Lots of dynamics this year though so will be fluid until the week before.

I'm jonesing for a river run in the little skiff again.

So, I kept hemming and hawing about coming to the gathering. It looks like NJ isn't going to remove TN from the quarantine list anytime soon, so on Tuesday I called Hales Bar and left a message. On Wednesday they called back and gave me a refund with no problems. Guess I'll see everyone next year. Everyone going have a good time and post pics and videos.

Sorry you cant make it,
Where is that list of the inter-state quarantine requirements?
What states is on which list?
Oak is over rated, everything about it takes extra time; then it warps, splits or checks !!!

I talked with Dwain Colton this morning. He has backed out. He rally wanted to come. But it's a long way form Oregon. The turn out seems small.

Breaks my heart. After 30 or more years of looking at plans it looked like I was finally going to build and additionally visit the Gathering. I guess TN will still be there next year when I hope to meet you all. Best Wishes for another year!

Bill, Ginny and I won't be making the trip this year. Hurricane Laura took a big bite out of our plans. We fared OK but some of our family has major damage. We need to stay close and help rebuild. We were looking forward to meeting those who are making the trip.

Sorry to hear. Life takes over sometimes.

My mother-in-law's boy friend, of about 15 years, may pass at anytime now. We can't go.
