Well, I hate it but I won't be able to make the trip this year either.

I look forward to next year when I finally bring a completed boat again.

All the stars aligned and I can make it this year but there is a problem.

I called Hales Bar and they said they have no cabins available except a 3 bedroom land cabin. I made sure she knew I was with the group encase they were just on hold for our group but she said they have been booked every weekend through November. So I might be at the Hampton Inn

Sorry. They said a month or two ago that our group would need to book by about a month ago or they would need to open our block.

Sounds like there will be some people in the floating cabins that aren't associated with Glen-L. Maybe those at the gathering can get some converts.

Thanks Bill, I remember that now that you reminded me.

Yep, gonna be odd, like the rest of this year.

We just had our one and only Classic boat show last weekend. It was held on the Three Lakes, WI, chain of lakes. There are about 14 lakes in the chain. It was nice to finally get to use the boat. We did take her out for a lunch cruise on a local lake. This will probably be it for this year. Here are some pictures of the weekend activities. We stayed at the NorthernAire resort. It was known as the Waldorf of the Wilderness back in the day. Now it has been torn down and completely rebuilt new. One pic is at our slip looking at the resort.

I'll be in the area and so am planning to pop in late Friday afternoon or early evening for a couple of hours. Looking forward to seeing the people and the boats.

Hi Jeff,
Heather and I should be back from Chattanooga about dusk on Friday. I’d rather not run the river at night again.

Hah! A lot of people are a "little crazy" and then there are a few people who are "really crazy". Looks like age might be catching up to you and so you might be migrating from the "really crazy" to only a "little crazy" group.

Look forward to seeing ya'll, talking about the Barrellback, and maybe even hearing you play us a song.

I usually roll in Thursday with enough daylight left to get the boat launched.

We hope to arrive at about 6 p.m. eastern time - 5 p.m. central time
Should give us enough time to check in and launch the boat, etc...

Got a call today that they are pulling our cabin. So they upgraded us to one of the 3 bedroom land cabins. At least we'll still be on site. We'll probably be there around 4 or 5.

Did Hales Bar give any explanation for changing your location?
