Thats great Jeff! Retirement running the Nickajack river run every week sounds pretty good to me! If you get bored of that you can run Guntersville and Chickamauga. Smart man!

Sorry Folks! I've been pretty lax on this lately!

But, we're down to Eight Months!

It has been a screwy year! This is a new place for most of us. We have great reports! This is Blue Water Marina on lake Chickamauga TN just north of Chattanooga. The price is in line with what we have had. Lots of places on the lake to go.

We'll talk food this summer. I think this is going to be a good year!

Melissa and I just booked a loft lodge room for Sept 23-26.
Look forward to seeing all of y'all then.
With the nice kitchen in the room, it won't be difficult to cook up a few dishes for meals.
It looks like this may be the best gathering yet!
Having 110 v power at the docks will make it easy to keep a full charge on the Aquatron.

I think with all the nice areas we will have available to gather, nice kitchens and roomier cabins, more opportunities and places to explore, this is likely to be a great gathering and our new home. Especially after an awful 2020. Thanks to Ken and others who helped look for and set up a new venue.

I still can't see all the many advantages to this new venue, there are things that dont apply to me, but it does apply to other members, example:
He can charge his amp eater at the dock (I don't use 110v but he does)
Butch doesn't need the moped to go from RV to his boat (I don't have a RV but he does)
The ladies got clean restrooms.
The liveaboard folks get clean land based showers (I don't liveaboard but they do)
The kids have a playground, ( I dont have kids but they do)
The kitchens ,,,,,,,,,well what can we say about a for-real kitchen?? (in everybody's room)
Neel gets a regular house,,,with a wet-bar no less. ( I don't do spaghetti but he does)
And, the pavillion,,,,,,we all can save a rainy day in the pavillion (with it's own bar no-less!!!)
I always enjoyed the pavillion at Guntersville better than the floating dock at nights. (I never stepped off the dock but some have!!)
The river run has 6 or 8 rest stops along the way if you 'have to go'
I think we can have 2 river runs
I think we can have a Poker Run
I think there is advantages we haven't seen yet, or don't know about yet

I found out 80% of all rooms are already booked. and this still february,
Looks like we may have a full occupancy kind of thing
3 lofts and Lake house are still open.

They have an RV can sleep 2 and is available in our reservation block now. it was the former grounds keeper place, and it can be reserved
