great set up for a small diesel

People are always bummed out that small diesels are almost non existant unless you pay an arm and a leg for them. I have personally used a simular engine setup and these are hard to come by, or at least its been my experience. If a person wants a moderate speed diesel in some inboard run around mess around small hull, this is the ticket, IMO. No affiliation

What is the approx weight of that motor/trans mike?

Actually doesn't look bad for an 1896? :shock:
I'm not certain since they appear to be hiding the trans, but is it a severe down angle?
Some Westerbekes were marinized VWs and had a good rep.
