Another day at it. It was a cold one here today temperature in the 40s. Sanded the cowl this morning but couldn't put another coat of paint on. So I spent the day in the garage getting the top end nearly finished. Everything is back on except for the hot lead to the ignition. There are two wires to choose from so I need to test for voltage and continuity before I make the connections. Will have a charged battery tomorrow. Still need to finish the cowl, install a new impeller and finish putting everything together.

Today's results. Installed the lower unit; but had to remove the flywheel as I need to replace distributor cap.

While I'm waiting for the distributor cap I might as well do something. Still have some cleanup work on the front of the cowl; but it actually looks like an Evinrude. :D

I've noticed a couple of rough spots in the paint; but at 40 MPH no one will see them. :D
