1972 evinrude Johnson charging issue

Postby Kswab » Fri Jun 15, 2018 9:48 pm

Help! Any advice....our motor is not holding a charge. We have bought 2 different stators and no luck. The latest stator was reading at 10.8. Should be checking something else like the flywheel. We are new to this and dont want to create more issues or never get out in the water. Thanks for taking the time to answer!!

It's possible the rectifier is bad.
