Hi All
Went and bought me a 100 gallon horse watering tank to run the engine in and got it working alright.
First off I had taken the throttle control box apart to install some brackets to mount it on the deck and apparently I got it back together wrong. Well I started the engine and it must have hit 4000 rpm and slipped into forward gear, I tell you there was only about 10 gallons of water left in the tank in a few seconds before I could turn the ignition switch off. I took the unit apart and fixed it right and restarted the engine and it ran fine from then on. I had a little to high rpm so done some twiddling with the adjustments, and now it idles down pretty decent. Don't have a tach as of yet but sounds like 8-900rpm. Engine trottles up nice so I am getting anxious to get it on the boat and try it out.
