Just quoted to me today--Crusader Price List.
http://www.crusaderengines.com/

5.7 Power Pack 320 hp $3,735 re-power
5.7 Classic carb 320 hp $7,557
5.7 Capt choice MFI 330 hp $9,193
6.0 Capt choice MFI 375 hp $11,432
8.1 Capt choice NFI 385 hp $12,700
8.1 Capt choice HO MFI 425 hp $13,732
They have ALL the transmissions for them also.
These are complete ready to drop in and include heat exchanger which covers exhaust. Cook Engine Co. Portland Oregon
Seems Crusader is not hurting as these are not Sale Prices. Stan
Great engenes, the best, run forever, heavily built. Clean I have seen the 5.7 classic carb on sale for under $4,000

these are good prices :)

you could possibly build more HP yourself for less money BUT you wouldn't have a warranty or the proven package that these motor would represent

"5.7 Power Pack 320 hp $3,735 re-power "

How much is included in that? I would bet that is only a long block at that price point.

I assume from the website that it is rebuilding your engine. So you have starter, alternater, all manifolds etc. They are fairly clear on the website under re-power

Um... where's the 5.0L?

I'm considering the 5.0L for my Key Largo, thought a 5.7L would be more power than need be...

If you can find a 5.7 Classic carb for around $4,000 buy it....... Just don't gun it to the max. Beats the price for last years 5.0
