yeah. Leakcheck, I too, gave up on the trailer tag...about a month ago. I figured I live in a private community, like I said it's like about 100' to the water. I'd payed for the tempoary plate, the paper type, but it expires within 10 days, so you have to take time off from work to drive the thing an hour away for an inspection. Why can't they do this terribly intensive, hard, and time-consuming inspection,at the dmv, in the next town, 10 mins. away???

I swear when you walk into the Ct. DMv, and tell them that you have something "Home-Built", that you need to register, their jaw drops onto the service window, other employees come running over to try to help, they dust off their books on the shelves, that cover h.b boats, talk alot amongst themselves, then come back to tell you that they can't do it. Then I would try to register the trailer withou the vin, and the jaw drops further. So I also gave up on that one. I know I'll need to do it to go to G-5, I just need to get through this B.S first.
