I think I'll make it. I have the Gran Chilin for 10 days starting next Friday, so that will cut into my time, unless I convince them that sanding or cleaning up my shop is fun. I may just let them in the pool while I work a bit to keep things moving. Alyssa'a almost 14 and Andrew is near 9, so they can be very good or not. I hope to have the deck boards on by the time they get here. I also hope to have the floor grids done the transom bands made and the cutwater welded and ready for the chrome guys.

Back to work.

Roberta :D :D :D

Dang he is at 6K he can whale watch from there!!!!

Was wondering about the glide slope...but guess it doesn't much matter as everything in sight is pretty much BLUE !!! Must be less head wind at that altitude..dang what a blast!

Update just in:

Ray,

I just spoke with Ryan.

All is well with the plane and the flight is going good.

He has just over 600 NM to go and expects to be on the ground in Pago Pago
in 5 hours.

He is feeling well and talking about heading for Gold Coast tomorrow. We
will see how he feels after 18+ hours of flying.

I notice he has been up to 8000 feet and looks to be getting a good tailwind up there...

Sorry to disappoint. I guess Flight Aware ain't so aware today. She landed at around 3pm today in Coolangatta. She will be de-tanked, serviced and registered this week. Ray is flying in from Out West on Saturday to fly her to Coffs Harbour. Current plan is for us to pick him up at Brisbane, drive him to Coolangatta, and then I will fly with him to Coffs and return by train the next day. Should be cool.

Thanks Roberta. I think Ray is pretty excited. About his plane, but also he has spent a few weeks separated from his Wife and kids. He LOVES his kids. His new job is in a place called Newman constructing mine site infrastructure. Not much there... At least the plane will give hm some freedom to get in and out.

Ah, he's a "fly in fly outter" as they call them down here. Yeah that will be the ticket for him! Did you tell him about the place in the Whitsundays? My buddy has a block of land right off that lil airstrip. He says it's sweet lil place.
