Am I missing something? This list is a lot different from the one tuesday. Im not even on the list now nor is 1BR floating cabin 6 which I had booked. I noticed a few other folks arent on the list at all now either?

I did not even look to see if it matched ours. This is the one they sent me and, you are right, it does not match ours

Ok, I have some work to do.

There seems to be a lot of errors on the list. We paid our deposit and it is not idicated on the list. I do have the CC bill, though.

Yeah, I called them in late May/early June and gave a guy my CC number. I stopped by there yesterday and they did not show that I had paid. I have to call my CC company and check the record because I can't remember if it was on my statement.

Krisin and I are still in cabin 5 per that list (however they have my wife's name down as "Christian" Hamilton). Just to verify, that is us.

I called with CC. They don't show a deposit and it isn't on my statement.

Sheesh, well after hearing this input I just decided to call. Maggie said I am confirmed in floating cabin 6 and they did show my CC deposit I made this spring. It seems maybe the most recent list is only accurate for the cabins actually destroyed? Im sure Dave will have it all straightened out in no time, I wouldnt worry too much if your info is innaccurate. Im sure they dont need all of us calling.

However, they are taking floating cabin volunteers to switch to a land cabin and are not planning to book cabins to folks outside our group to ensure that they have room for all of us in on-site cabins of the same size that week. So maybe if your cabin burnt and you really dont want a land cabin you should let others know and a mutual swap can be planned.

I may take a land cabin. The cabin we were assigned is right next to the office and I just don't like that spot. The water is stagnant and dirty at the shoreline. There is also a lot of growth in the water along that area. I realize this is a section of water with a fair amount of commercial traffic and the gunk is just going to happen. I'm just not used to seeing it. The good thing is our boat can probably be tied up right there which is a plus if the crud can be kept off.

All this aquatic growth was one of the items we were not to have to deal with this year.

My goodness.

I guess I should check in more often. Mine was one of the cabins destroyed. I'll call them today. Anybody got room for 5 guys on a "guy weekend" boat trip???

Ok , here is the latest and greatest. Somehow some of the cabins were rented to non-G folks despite that we locked them all down. There is a effort to correct this right now.

1. Kyle Ellington was booked in #2 Floating but they had him in #2 Land so they booked #2 to a non-G
2. Kevin Brown was moved from #4 Floating to #21 Floating which burnt. He moved to #7 Land
3. Hales is calling the non-G in #2 and #4 to cancel his one night stays so that Kyle can have #2 back and free up #4 Floating 3 BR
4. #22, #24 and #25 Floating are all moved next to the store due to a tornado
5. The dock is also damaged and there is some electrical issues so they don't think they can move the cabins back
6. Most of the water vegetation is gone this year.

Dave,

We were in 3BR #18 which burned; they put us in a 3 BR on the hill temporarily but wait-listed us for the first 2 or 3 BR that opened up. :(

Heard from them this morning that we are now in 3 BR #4 since the people in #4 were not with our group and they're moving them to another date so that they can accomodate as many in our group as possible. :D

Thanks again for all your hard work in getting things straight.
